Stunt

I have great faith in fools,
Their folly being fascination,
And a great deal of imagination.
I envy the fool for his ignorance,
For his almost fearlessness,
And his lack of what some might say be self-awareness.
I once tried my hand at disgracing the gods to become such, screaming blasphemies into the night sky, but clouds rolled over and the moon decided to hide inside a bundle of celestial design.
The sun, just beyond the horizon, waited patiently on our home to make it ’round.
I received no answer to my pleas.
I remain myself.
